RevyOps Path to $1 Million
Update 10/31/2025 | Getting People to Use Software is Hard!

It's one thing to sell software. It's another thing entirely to get people to use it. Here's a RevyOps update on my journey to $1 Million.
We've doubled our monthly sales in the last two weeks. Excited? Of course! Problematic? Kind of.
We literally had so much new data entering the platform from clients that the database started to slow down. We had load times of 5+ seconds to view contact lists. WTF!
Thankfully, my Co-Founder, Alan Chniouer, is an absolute technical genius and spent 80 hours this week upgrading the entire system to make it lightning-fast.
That's not the only challenge I've faced. I have people who have signed up, paid, and don't use the platform. Again, WTF!
Here's what I learned. Our onboarding flows sucked.
To be specific:
1. Our prior onboarding guide looked like it was made in a Cuban military prison.
2. Our integration setup required a PhD.
3. I probably spoke to all new users like an astrophysicist when I should have spoken to them like a 3rd grade teacher.
Look, I'm human, just like you, and I'm learning every single day, despite this being my 5th SaaS business and 14th company.
The principle "Keep it Simple Stupid" (KISS) applies.
So, Alan Chniouer and I revamped the onboarding guides (still in progress). Meanwhile, Alan rebuilt the user interface for our sequencer integration setups to make it DUMB simple.
I have also worked on myself. I assumed all of our users were high-level GTM experts. Many are super savvy but still need help with technical setup. We decided to stop pretending everyone "just got it." Instead, we are taking matters into our hands and turn-keying the entire setup for each client (if they want).
On a different note, I realize that using RevyOps is a small piece of our lead gen agency client's world. I know I focus on RevyOps 24/7, so I'm biased! But, most of the time, our clients forget it exists (ideally, it is working silently in the background as their trusty database and dashboarding tool).
For this reason, I've spent tons of time helping my agency clients think more strategically, not tactically, about their operational systems.
Instead, we have a growing group of brand-new GTM agency owners in our Slack channel "NextGen GTM." We meet weekly to help each other grow and learn how to build a GTM agency from the ground up.

TLDR: I'm learning about how to onboard RevyOps clients better every day. I'm also realizing that my clients need more strategic and emotional support.
