💡 LinkedIn Highlights

Your sequencer is draining your wallet!

If your sequencer is your database… you’re probably paying twice for the same leads and don’t even know it. I just talked to an agency owner who accidentally re-enriched 40% of his list. Let’s talk about how often this is happening to you too.

Your sequencer is costing you clients 👀

🦬 Felipe Aranguiz asked me at the GTM Sculpt conference: "Ben, what do you do for a living?" Here's what I said:
"I make data sexy again."
"We're a database."

You sound like everyone… and I know why!

After talking to 50s of GTM and lead gen agency founders over the past few months, I've noticed a pattern:

Great products die without great sales…

I've been building companies for over a decade. One thing I've learned is that “good products don't sell themselves.” Most founders I meet can generate leads.
They just can't close them.

I’m giving you my entire agency playbook…

I'll show you how to scale to 20+ clients in less than 6 months. I have bundled my entire GTM Agency growth system and my exact GTM Engineering Operations…you can access for free.…

GTM and RevOps don’t speak the same language…

A silent war is raging between GTM and RevOps. Here's my deep dive take. It’s not loud. It’s a little angry. I brushed it off as a natural result of new roles emerging and legacy systems resisting change.

Looking good on camera is a sales skill now…

On 50%+ of my sales calls, I get these crazy positive reactions (learn how you can too below)

"Wow, I love your background."
"Is that a real setup?"

RevyOps just made GTM reporting stupid-easy…

A major update to the RevyOps platform has been released. Here's what's new:

Our GTM Agency clients have been asking for this feature for months. It is finally here.

If your data lived in one place, you’d make twice as much.

I just saved an agency $73K/year by changing ONE thing. It wasn't their deliverability, it wasn't their copy. It was something nobody talks about...Their data workflows.

♻️ I don’t always read when I fly, but when I do, I read Alex Hormozi…

This is one of the “private collection” playbooks I purchased during his recent launch event of his Money Models books.

If I had $0 and needed clients fast…

What I’d do If I went broke and had to start my GTM Agency all over again. Let's get started...

Step 1: Choose Your Beachhead Market. Start with 3 beachhead markets. The right market has:

90% of your CAC lives where you’re not looking…
It makes me throw up in my mouth when I only see B2B GTM pros talk only about top-of-funnel metrics (like cold email reply rates), while ignoring what really matters.

💭 My Take of the Week

  • As Russell Brunson once said, if you are struggling with marketing/sales, you’re probably struggling with one of the following areas: (a) Hook; (b) Story; (c) Offer.

  • Notice how he doesn’t say, “You’re struggling with your marketing channel,” or “You have a sales/marketing automation problem.”

  • The above is a critical insight for any early-stage founder launching new offers, services, or products. This is even important for more experienced GTM pros or agencies launching offers into a new market they haven’t worked in before.

  • It is “cool,” “trendy,” and, for some, even considered “best practices” to “automate everything.” The constant chatter on LinkedIn by the “gurus” is telling you to buy Clay, Instantly, and Heyreach to automate your entire outbound funnel. Infographics with all the cool new AI-automated applications dominate your newsfeed. And, this may be great advice if you are ready to scale. If you are not ready, then you have been convinced to focus on the wrong thing.

  • Here’s the bottom line: Do things that don’t scale first. At the beginning of any marketing campaign, you need to explore exactly what Russell Brunson suggests to focus on: Your “hook,” “story,” and “offer.” Then, you need to try variations of how these three elements are phrased depending on the channels you are using. Try different angles, reading levels, tones, and styles. This means sending manual 1-to-1 direct messages on LinkedIn and making manual cold calls to your top 100 prospect lists. Yes, it’s boring and it feels “old school.” But this is the fastest way to get “message marketing fit.” It gives you the fastest feedback loops to see what works and what doesn’t. It has the added benefit of being fast to implement and low cost (two things a founder needs most).

  • So, consider this “take” as permission to slow down to figure out what works before amplifying your GTM messaging. Remember, a bad message amplified does no good. In fact, it likely hurts your brand, pisses off your ideal customer profile, and doesn't give you the key insights to make sure the GTM motion is better.
