💭 My Take of the Week
The key to succeeding in business is to “build layers.” Yes, this is both a mindset and a strategy.
Being reminded of obvious truths is sometimes more important than learning new ones. This is one of those obvious truths you don’t want to skip if this is already “obvious” to you.
My secret superpower is consistency.
The mindset behind this is subtle, yet critical.
I think of my progress like layers.
The cliche "set a foundation" applies.
The twist is that every new layer is a new foundation.
There is not one foundation, but thousands.
Every layer that follows is built upon the prior.
Every layer may take months, sometimes years, to build.
There is no skipping a needed layer of learning...of growth.
Do not try to jump ahead. You will surely fall back to the beginning or get stuck.
Always go slow to go fast.
The layers will pay off.
The layers take years to build.
Keep going, keep building.
Have faith in the process.
