There is a reason most top entrepreneurs say their number one skill is pain tolerance: Business is counterintuitively hard!…

256 Variations. 0 Attribution. Welcome to Modern Outbound

Your agency just said "the campaign performed well." Cool. Which of the 256 Spintax variations actually drove the deals? (silence). Here's what's happening:

💭 My Take of the Week

I've been thinking a lot about intuition, and at times I wonder what it is. To the best of my understanding, it is a deep feeling that comes from a combination of a thousand, if not millions, of imperceptible data points, our bodies and our minds, and, as cliché as it sounds, maybe our souls are picking up from the universe.

Over the last year, my primary goal has been to surrender to more of these feelings and perceptions that I may have resisted in the past. The reason I resisted them in the past was that I thought my mind could determine the correct path. What I found was that my mind and my analysis were oftentimes misleading and incorrect. The reason is that I held many false beliefs and incorrect information, which led me to make suboptimal decisions.

As woo-woo as it might sound, the more that I surrender and the more that I listen to my body and my feelings…my intuition, the best things in life appear for me.

These “Best Things” are not always monetary. They are not always about business. In fact, many of the times, they relate to something much deeper, something within my soul that I need to work on, that I need to explore, that I need to realize, that I need to appreciate.

I don't know ultimately what this “surrender” will lead to, but I will say that it has felt more congruent and more in line with what I'm trying to do in this world, which is to provide value to people, to grow every single day, and to ultimately be the best version of me that I can be.

There's a great book called “The Surrender Experiment” by Michael Singer. I highly recommend reading it if you want a deeper dive into the subject
